new new new

Hi all just letting you know if you havent noticed already that is, we have a new layout, and theme.

I was looking for something with an Autumn feel but couldnt find anything i liked so I chose Earthy colours instead which are still like Autumn i guess, and then i threw a little bit of girly in there lol.

Also the layout for the homepage has changed, I figured it would be easier to navigate the site if everyone could see all of the forums and sub-forums on the homepage.

I hope you all like it.

It's good Jain, I just have a bit of a problem seeing where the new posts are but I'll be fine, I'll get used to it. x

It's similar to the original/old layout.

I love it.

New posts should be in the same spot and it's in black writing on my end.

for new posts Aileen jst click on the prompt on the top right hand side of the homepage 'visit posts since last visit' or the same link from any topic or forum under 'actions!' also on top right side of page. xx

Ok thanks hun, It's just the light pink colour icon showing the new posts that's a bit of a problem for me but that's alright, I will do what you suggested and I will get used to it, otherwise everything else is great.

it's not pink on my end, when i got to 'visit new posts since last visit' its black.

I've done what Jain had suggested in clicking on the new posts in the right hand corner and it works better for me, so all is okay now.

where were you clicking before?

On the left hand side hun where the icons are that flash when there's a new post, I never thought of using the view the new posts on the right hand side, silly me.

looks good...got 5 mins now so going to have a nose about lol

I'm trying Aileen LOL i just cant work out where you've been clicking.

:lol: im guessing on the individual forums so where it would show a different symbol if there are new posts in it. which personally hats of to you Aileen i dcould never figure it out. i really should find my 'new' icons to make it easier for people who do it that way. its how i used to do it back in the days of raisinglife (a website run by a few women i know/knew i was a mod on there).

You've got it Jain, that's what I was doing but now I do what you all do and I didn't realise how easy it is, I'm still learning. :lol:

looking good hun, I have some autumn kits, and also a winter kit and halloween kit (etc etc lol) so if you want a autumn/halloween/winter etc etc banner just shout
